RESTORATIVE YOGA and NIDRA
Restorative yoga is the practice of relaxation. It's been said that if the various forms of yoga were a full course meal, restorative yoga would be dessert. Soothing and nourishing resting poses are held for 5-7 minutes each with any array of blankets and cushions to comfort, support and slowly open the body. Restorative yoga has long been recognized for its profound ability to relieve stress and anxiety, boost immune function, help people heal from illness and trauma, and gently stretch and open muscles and joints. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that induces full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. It is also practiced lying down, with the aid of blankets and props to comfort and support your body. It is an ancient yogic technique described as “the sleep that awakens pure being.” Join Ania for an evening of blissful relaxation that honors your body and stills your mind.
VINYASA FLOW
In vinyasa yoga poses are linked to your breath, expect to move with your breath and focus your attention; this well balanced flow class will get you out of your head and into your body and breath. All are welcome in this accessible class that will include many modifications for yogis at all levels.
WEEKEND FLOW
Balance out your day with this fun and energizing afternoon vinyasa flow class. This is an accessible athletic class for students of all levels with plenty of modifications and options to support each students individual practice. Using an energetic flow as a foundation, this class focuses on using breath to connect body, mind, and practice. Expect an intelligent and fun workout for your body with an uplifting boost of energy to take you through the rest of your day and prepare you for your weekend.
(gentle) This is a gentler version of the weekend flow class. Concentrating on more ease and and restfullness while still strengthening and stretch.
